I am a fully registered doctor and have worked within the NHS for the last 18 years.  I studied medicine at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 1999.  I am registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and am a member of the Royal College of Physicians.  After passing my postgraduate exams I decided to specialise in rheumatology and after completing further specialist training I became a Consultant Rheumatologist in 2008.

As a rheumatologist I manage many different conditions which mostly involve the musculoskeletal system.  Working in my speciality I have developed a great insight into the effects that various diseases have on the body with the progression of age.  I see patients that not only want to be in the best of health but who also want to enjoy life to the fullest, be fit and minimize the effects and impact of the normal aging process on their life.  I also see how this can have a huge impact on the patient’s psychological well-being.

I have always had a personal interest in health and beauty and developed an interest in “Medical Aesthetics” which is a rapidly growing clinical specialty aimed at the use of minimally invasive cosmetic treatments to enhance patient’s physical appearance.  I completed my training with one of the top medical aesthetics training courses in the UK and am fully certified to administer “botulinum toxin injections” and “dermal fillers”.  I now divide my time between my patient care as a Consultant Rheumatologist within the NHS and working privately in my medical aesthetics clinics.

My ethos is to focus on you as an individual and so during your consultation I will explore your aspirations and expectations and address any questions and concerns you have.  I will suggest a bespoke treatment plan tailored to meet your unique needs and desires.  My focus is on creating subtle enhancements aimed at achieving a natural and healthy look.  I want you to be 100% satisfied with your consultation and the outcome of any treatments you may have and so establishing a good rapport and maintaining open and clear communication is very important to me.  I understand that discretion is very important to many of you and so you can be assured of receiving both a confidential and discreet service.  I take great pride in the results I achieve and find the work I do hugely rewarding in helping to enhance someone’s outer beauty but even more so in seeing the positive impact treatments can have on someone’s inner self by improving self-esteem and confidence.  If you’re interested in the treatments I offer then please do get in touch to arrange a consultation or have a browse under the treatments section if you’d like to know a bit more about what the treatments entail.
